I have a garrett T3/T4 .57 trim 60A/R from ATP turbos. God knows if it is ball bearing or journal bearing because I have no clue. Anyways, I am about to order a compressor wheel since mine are badly chipped and was wondering if I can upgrade to:

Garrett Compressor Wheel, T3/T4 T67/T04R, 84mm - 63 trim (67mm inducer)

Garrett Compressor Wheel, T3/T4E 50 trim

Garrett Compressor Wheel, T3/T4E 60 trim

Garrett Compressor Wheel, T3/T4 60-1

OR my size.... Garrett Compressor Wheel, T3/T4E 57 trim

Im planning to order my rebuild kit from gpopshop.

anywould help would be appreciated thanks. Ive already search but came up with results from other turbos.

I'm surprised Justin hasn't dominated this thread yet. LOL

You can't rebuild a BB turbo. So, you had better be sure what turbo you have before you go buying parts for it. And you can't just stuff any compressor wheel in that compressor cover. The cover needs to match the wheel.

First, figure out what you have. Pull the compressor cover and measure the inducer and exducer of the compressor wheel. Post a few pictures of the CHRA and we'll let you know if it's BB or journal bearing.

Oh ok, so the 57 trim wheel is the one needed. Alright will do that, along with pictures then. Stay tuned!!! I will post them up in the evening.

Damn sorry for my lagginess anyhow here is the pick I took. Taken by phone but you can see the fins on the top are chipped. I ran this thing in my crx before and thing pulled like a mother....btw a friend suggested it is journal bearing for sure.

My plan is to grind off the fins to keep them nice and sharp. Idk LOL.

Can we get some better pics of the center housing and such? From the photos that thing appears nowhere near as big as the T04E57 that you originally claimed. In fact, it doesn't appear much bigger than a T28.

The way there's a lip in the center of the backplate may actually suggest that the cartridge can be removed from behind by removing a snap ring. If so, there's a good chance this actually IS a ball bearing turbo.

I will take pics of teh center housing and all once I get home. btw it is watercooled as well.
