t04 turbo on awd talon???

sup all u intese dsm tuners. i really need ur help with this 1. i got a t04 turbo and i wanna use it on my 92 talon tsi (awd). i am wondering what the spool time would be on it and if this would ba a good idea running this turbo. also my motor is mostly stock cept the FMIC and piping. also what psi should i be running with this application. the turbos ar is 60ar-cold 83ar-hot. please help guys.

yeah, but you NEED to replace that exhaust housing its much to big.. I just installed today a

t04b V-trim
.60 a/r compressor

.58 a/r T4 exhaust
P-trim wheel

it starts to spool about 4,000 rpms. I do have one known exhaust leak, but it is minor and will be fixed tommorow.

poopi92awdtalon : You should really get a fuel pump and injectors and something to control them with before you put that turbo on your car. You should actually get all of the supporting mods before putting that turbo on.
What type of turbo is it exactly and where did you get it?

myblack98gst : did you get it from bullseye-power.com ? I just got the same turbo not to long ago but i can hit full boost before 4,000rpms? I have it set at like only 17psi right now but it still hits boost before 4,000.

I agree totally with this reply. there are a lot of mods required to run that turbo. Again, what is it from. A hot side of .63 would be more acceptable.
My AGP RS49-50 trim spools by 4000 RPM's. Mark

no it is a true garrett T4 exhaust housing.. probably the reason my lag is bad. And like I said I am having a problem with the wastegate coming loose?!?!? Got to get that figureed out.

I found out the problem today and fixed it..

in 5th gear I can build 20 psi by 3,600 rpms... much better than before..

it wasn't a common problem fix.. the studs holding the wastegate on were coming loose.. I just took them out and used allen head bolts and lock washers..

in case you already looked I just updated all my stuff that was very old
