has anybody ever heard of swoosh gauges? they sell there stuff off ebay but I can't find any other info on them. so if someone could direct me to there website or let me know if they know anything about them

Just stick to Autometer man. They're cheap and they're carried at most part stores

I have never heard of them... Doesn't that say enough??? seriously you can buy used gauges for like 30 bucks..

If they're cheap enough, try em' out. Never hurts to try and save a few bucks...

You don't always need the best of the best, especially with something as simple as gauges.

Like I said and most will agree. Autometer is the best way to go. But all we can do is suggest. The final decision is all yours my friend.

As simple as a gauge?
Seeing as how a gauge is monitoring important engine information, I'd want them to be of good quality and accurte too.

They look spiffy but I've never heard of them. Not sure I'd trust them in my car. I went with prosports, couldn't be happier.

NO, Do not buy these gauges.

I myself thought they were slick looking as well, purchased em and had a local guy install them. As soon as he turned the ignition over, smoke started coming from the pillar. I pulled them out immediately and took apart the gauge to find the inside completely melted.
They were hooked up correctly, just crappy gauges. I have a brand new swoosh oil pressure (I think) or temp and I will send it to you if you want to see for yourself.
PM me your shipping info. Jayson

If you can't afford a decent gauge like an Autometer, then you can't afford to be modding anything else on a DSM.

Wow...LOL

Do prosport. They are pretty good. You can check their website if you want more info. I looked at swoosh too and to be honest they look really cheap. Much like that JDM brand thats going around too...

fwdmaster is right, they usually have them at a good price. Thats where I got mine.

Gauges are important. I had a coolant temp gauge I got for like $20 and it "worked" or so I thought. Then I found out it was off by 30 degrees, so when I thought it was undercooling, I was really fine. But when I was overheating, I had no idea until the check engine light came on.

That was just not called for. All I asked for is peoples opinions on these gauges. I can afford a decent set of gauges for your info, I like the way these look and I don't buy anything with out researching it first and I can't find any info on them. so if all you have to say is negative things fill in the blank f**k you and stay off my threads

sorry mods for the words!!:nono:
please don't kick me off;)

Haha, don't take it so personal. Gauges are never a thing go cheap on, regardless of how it looks.
