I am switching from a 6 bolt to 7 bolt head. With the heads I got two free intake manifolds. One is a venom and the other is absolutely stock 7 bolt. I have dual springs and retainers, hks272's. but a small turbo for now on around 30 psi. Which manifold should I use?

The difference between heads has nothing to do with 6 bolt 7 bolt. It is whether it is a 2g or 1g head. 1g heads have big ports whether they are from a 6 or 7 bolt. 2g heads have small ports. Use the manifold that matches the ports on the head that you are using.

If you have the correct matching intake/head as bryan said, what are your goals for the car? I mean with a built head and 30psi i am biased to say the venom over the stocker. In the end its up to you as this is a thread of simply of ones opinion vs yours.

It's a 2g head sorry for confusion. Just seeing If the venom will be better than stock

If there is no damage or leaks to the venom, then yes its better. The only thing the 2g intake is good for is low end power and it looks stock. Thats it.
For what you are doing a SMIM will benefit you.

I got them both for free so I'm going to use whichever one is going to be better for making power. I only do drag racing.
