I was reaading some threads a while back about swapping out a 91 - 94 shifter assembly for the 90. I was wondering if it matter if the assembly was for a FWD, AWD, N/A or what exaactly would I need. My car is a 1990 TSi AWD. Thanks! :thumb:

The 90 shifter base(with the shfter), shifter cables, and shifter cable bracket(on the trans) are all different then the 91-94. I went through this all, because I own a 90, but use a 92 trans, shifter, cables.
