I searched but couldn't find a definite answer , even tried google .

I have a 90 Tsi and my shifter bushings on the shifter itself have desintagrated. It's making it hard to get into first and second and 5th and reverse since now the shifter pivots on the shaft instead of actually moving the linkage. Wondering if it's possible to still get the bushing, or if there's an aftermarket alternative that would be better.

Also my trans grinds second so should I just deal with it and save up to swap to all 91-93 parts?

i dont have access to the tools to make my own bushings like you unfortunately

and yes i know the trans is bad
