hey guys, i got a 92 eclipse gs, i wanted to know if a 92 eagle talon rear bumber and tail lights will fit like the the original eclipse bumper and tail lights, or do i have to do some molding to make the tail lights fit or the bumper too, i like the look of the 92-94 talons alot better than the eclipse rear ends, the eclipse tailights just arent that attractive to me. thanks for your help guys

You have to flip the bumper support upside down and trim the middle bracket that holds the top of the bumper in order for the 92-94 talon rear to fit. Also, you will need to use the brackets off the talon to hold the "ends" (the area near the wheel well). I did this to my 90 Laser, and the splash guards didn't fit exact, I had to drill holes on the Laser ones to bolt the talon ends down. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, there probably is an easier way to do this, but I had to change the wiring for the taillights also.

hey man, thank, that did help me, but the tail light wiring?, how much rewireing are we talking about LOL, they dont have a harness plug that will plug right in or can you cut one off a talon and wire it to the eclipse tailight harness?

The plug for the reverse lights and the license is the same, just plug in, but my 90 Laser turn signals were the bulbs at the end of the taillight, and the 92-94 Talon ones are on the top center. I had to lengthen the turn signal light wire. Plus, I'm not sure if I'm correct, but the turn signal light for the Talon had three wires, and my Laser only had two wires. Or vice versa. I also had to add another brake light bulb for the end red taillight part of the Talon. Something like that. I may be wrong, but I'm sure it just wasn't a "take out the plug harness and plug in the Talon" type deal. Hope this helps a little more.

thanks man, that does help, im going to be doing all this, this summer and im going to make it the fasted all motor eclipse i can, since it has a 6 bolt engine in it i hopefully wont be waisting my time, i know it wont be as fast as most turbo eclipse but it will be one fast all motor eclipse, im buying and 92 talon tsi awd to take care of my turbo problem LOL thanks again man.:D
