2G Swapping a 95 Talon to a 2Gb Eclipse...

I want to swap my 95 tsi awd talon to a 2gb eclipse, but I cant help but feel like im taking a legend off the streets and like im doing a crime to the car. In my opinion the rear end and spoiler of an eclipse looks sooo much better than the talon, but finding an "affordable" gsx feels damn near impossible. So should I swap it?

Should you eat pancakes for dinner? It comes down to personal preference.
That being said, so many Talons have been converted in the past I personally would leave it as is, sell it to someone who truly appreciates it for what it is and buy an Eclipse if you really want a 2Gb.

It's your car. Are you more interested in it as an investment, as a piece of history, or as a personal vehicle? If your interest is in it being a car you like, and you prefer the look of an Eclipse, then swap the body parts and make the car look how will make you happy. If your interest is in preserving a piece of history, leave it as a Talon. If it's an investment, keep it/return it to stock and garage it.

The nice thing is you can always keep the Talon parts and swap them back if/when you want to sell it as a piece of nostalgia.

The only bad part about converting is you have to re wire the tail lights and you have to drill out the spot welds and move the bumper brackets up. I've done it and it's not hard but there is a process.

2gb Talon swap it instead by getting the front and rear bumpers at least. That’s what I did and have no regrets. Eclipse swapped Talons are a crime but that’s just my opinion.

I thought since you had to change the frame you couldn't reverse it? But if i can reverse it then i have my answer

I'd do a lot of digging and research first. Anything can be reversed. Heck, you could rear mount a V8 into the car if you really wanted to. I don't know everything that's involved in the swap, so be sure to do the homework before committing.
