Swapping 1.8 to 2.0 turbo

Just wondering if anywhere on the forums is a printable step by step on how to complete a swap into my 93 1.8 gs to the so loved 4g63t? Also would a 1.8 5sp tranny bolt up to the 2.0 motor. As you can see I am a noob and just converted from the Honda lifestyle. I was sick and tired of getting beat by turbo dsmers

first, searching is your friend. There is information about the swap here on tuners.
Most of the time, especially with 1gs getting up there in age, its easier/cheaper to just sell the 1.8 and buy a turbo car, or keep the 1.8 for when your turbo car breaks down.
You would need the ECU, wiring harness, turbo engine (obviously) and all the piping and other parts around the turbo engine. Also the fuel pump, and exhaust. I would suggest, if you plan to do this conversion, buy a crashed 2.0 turbo car and start swapping parts to your car.

You will be wasting your time/money. Buy a turbo car, Honestly. I'm sure all the idiot's will come in saying how a typical turbo guy would post something this "ignorant", But it's the truth.

Swapping from a 2.0 to a 2.0 turbo is pointless, going from a 1.8 to 2.0 turbo is rediculous. You could have a good running awd for less money easily.

Doing anything other than swapping in everything forward of the firewall from a 2.0 turbo will only result in failure. I've killed clutches, trannies, and all sorts of other little things along the way in my car. It's finally showing signs of reliability and that's because if you open the hood you'd never know it wasn't an nt before except for the nt throttlebody (which I had to have the seals on the tb shaft replaced on so it would even work).
