suspention issue i think

ok this problem start occuring a couple weeks ago. Every time i push the gas i hear and feel some type of clunking noise that come from the tire area. Same thing happens when im rolling backwards down a hill or any steep hill, while rolling i hit the brake and a clunck and its as if the tire stops then the body of the car moves and inch then stops. I have no clue what it might because i dont know anything about suspention. Any ideas would help greatly.

Sounds like it may be a loose caliper or caliper bracket, take the wheel off and make sure everything's nice and tight back there... As far as suspension goes you could have a worn out bushing (not likely to cause that kind of issue) or maybe a broken strut mount. Good luck!

Also, i know i have bad shocks, could that cause the cluncking noise and feel of every time i hit the gas???

My shocks in the rear were shot and everytime I took a turn too hard or made the car sway, there was a loud clunking sound like metal was hitting plastic or something. Definitely start by taking the wheel off like it was suggested and check over everything. Brakes, rotors, bearings, etc...

would bad axles be a reason for this problem ??

sounds to me like you have a bad cv shaft/axel take it down to a shop and have em look.

Don't they have a recall on that for the 2g's, or was it for the control arm.
