i got a stock 95 RS n/t i'm getting some MB motoring rims 18 in. and i'm not sure what tire size i should do. but i'm going to run bigger than the 195's that are on it. maybe 215... 225...235? any idea's should i got 40 or 45 for the sidewall? what about brand? LOL i'm clueless...

ohh yeah and i wanna lower it when i get the rims and tires. i'm thinking about KYB AGX struts and EIBACH PRO SERIES spring? good combo. or maybe some coilovers.. i like ractive's euro brand i think.. any idea and how low will that drop me? i would like to be able to adjust that for winter time since my driveway will prob. be a prob. in cleveland with snow! LOL

Chances are your not going to like what I have to say, but here goes. The setup mentioned above may not necessarily improve handling ( I'm not sure whether you care). If I were you, I would go shopping for tires first. The reason for this is because you will be shopping for tires often. (specially since you metioned no provisions for adjusting suspension angles, most importantly camber)Your tires will wear out quickly.18" tires are steep. If you want to go big go 17. You don't have to go big to look good. I'm sure a lot of people have 18", but in my opinion it's just not worth it. Rims don't really have a good resale value. Tires are more important than rims. Rims the lighter the better, but they have to be strong. If your thinking of upgrading, weight your stock rims, then weigh their replacement. Then ask yourself if the money your going to spend is worth the upgrade.
I always wanted to get huge wheels. Then I did research. Now I'm thinking one piece forged, either 15" or 16", and I want them to weight no more than about 12lbs. If you don't believe me do some research on Inertia, and unsprung weight, as well as camber, caster, toe.
...but that's just my opinion.

yeah i wuz thinking about going 17's instead but i didn't realize it was that much of a difference.. with me going 17's is it going to fix the camber problem or at least help. and if so what should i go with for the suspension? struts and springs.... or coilovers.... or something else?

It's not camber that eats tires; it's toe that eat tires. Before you tell someone else to do some research, take your own advice.

With that said, I agree about smaller wheels. You want the smallest (and, therefore, the lightest) wheels that fit over your brakes, on the proviso that you can get the correct sized tires.

I came across this sale somewhere on fatwallet, not sure about the Vogtland springs, are they any good? I know Koni stuff is top notch, might be worth a shot.
