i bought my awd tsi used from some guy that lowered it 2 inches, it looks good but i want a better ride so i was thinking about raising it 1 inch or so, is that a good idea? or does someone have any alternative solutions possible cheaper solutions?

a coil over suspension would be best, but its expensive, new springs would be the cheapest... or loosing a good 500 lbs from your car.... that would make for a smoother ride....
