suspension popping noise

just got my car out of the shop. I have new outer tyrods on both sides, new brakes on both sides and a new left axel. Not 15 mins after leaving the shop, I come off a red light (not even pushing it) and I hear/feel a loud popping come off my left side, I didnt see anything fall off my car in my rear view. I pulled into a parking lot and looked at it but couldnt see anything amiss. But now everytime I switch gears (auto), this popping comes out of the car and when i go over a bump it feels like my entire front end is gonna drop out of my car.

My in law had the same problem. I took a look and His axle popped. Took a tool and lightly hit it, had alot of free play. Feels it over every bump, first second gear shift. U turn.

Others said it was the ball joints. But after I told him to change the axle. The pop never came back.

so just hit it with something like a rubber hammer and it will go away? I swear it felt like somthing physically came off my car

No not hit it. When I jacked his car up to look at the passenger axle. I took off the tire... the part where the ball thingy sits is actually where it had a lot of free play, not the part where the axle actually goes into the tranny. After he replaced it the noise stopped.
