Suspension or trans?

My eclipse GS-T has both left tyrods and the axel busted. I just ordered the parts today but another problem came up. Whenever i go into reverse (automatic trans) the car suddenly starts vibratiing a lot more than it does in anyother gear, and it just started doing it. Im wondering if its my trans going out or my left suspension on its way out very soon

sounds like the tranny if it doesnt do it in forward gears? does it hesitate going into reverse?

That would be the halfshafts binding up because they're already junk.

no hesitation but feels like an im driving an earthquake in reverse
