well i worked on it for about 3 hours today got the rears in all except for the drivers side.. that damn lower bolt fused itself to the bottom of the shock.. i cut the shock off and the rubber and i am working on the metal ring around the bolt.. i might just cut right through the bolt.. anyone know what size that bolt is?

so tomorrow its the fronts. hopefully they arent too difficult either.. i just hope i dont have to cut anything.... i ran out of cutting discs..

i will have pics of the suspension when i am done.. i used kyb gs-2 struts and dropzone springs. its alot better than the old stuff... damn cut springs.. what a retard my sister's ex was. i didnt even need to use a spring compressor.. they were that loose.

anyways. enough of my ranting
peace

Did you try a blow torch to heat up the bolt?
How about an impact gun to shock the threads loose?
Did you have a long breaker bar to gain leverage?
Did you try liquid wrench lubricant?

I think cutting it is the LAST resort. I would strip the bolt head before I'd cut a shock assembly.

nah... i have tried all that before.. but i was at my apartment.. so no air tools.. and no torch. so easiest way was cutting... i only cut the bottom part of the shock.. nothing that had the air or oil in it. just the mounting part.. besides i was replaceing all of it.. i finally ended up beating the cuts i made with a chisel and hammer until it fell off.. i have easy access to more bolts.. but yeah i would have used the other methods first if i could have used them.
