Hey guys I jsut sold my Caliber SRT4 to get a 2003 cobra. I just bought a laser rs turbo and I know nothing about them. It is pretty stock with just exhasut. I just wanted to say hey and ask what are the first few mods I could do easily without changing the timing and tune. Intake/manual boost controller/lightweight cam gears, etc.????

Its not too much of a leap from the srt4 family to dsms. both chryslers basically.
Do all your maintenance first and foremost. Then you could look into fuel mods, and running higher boost. This has been covered in a million and 1 threads. Im sure you can find everything right on the FAQ section. Thatll get ya started in the right direction. Check that timing belt though! Do that first.

The only similarities is that they are both 4 cylinder and fwd. The srt4 is a chrysler engine and the 4g63 is a mitsubishi engine.

I stand corrected. I thought the srt4 used the 4g64 or a variant of it. I learned otherwise. Still, the maintenance is the most important thing at this point.

It is a 420a style engine.

Run through all your maintenance first, then look at increasing fuel, boost, airflow, FMIC. That should hold you over.
