Yes I've searched and read other threads, and yes defiant I've looked at
http://www.ecanfix.com/users/manual.../2g_sunroof.pdf

I still can't get my bloody sunroof to open or close fully. Right now, the ONLY movement it has is from not quite tilted up all the way, to not quite fully closed. So barely any movement at all. And it doesn't do this constantly, sometimes it wont move at all for a minute then it will move again just a little bit.

All the threads I'm seeing say to "break off this little plastic tab" or "make sure the cables are clean" or "push this little pin back in" Sure that's all fine and dandy, if the people saying that would post some actual GOOD pictures, and not horrible undersized drawings that don't show crap. From the stupid little drawing that was posted I can't figure out what tab and what piece of plastic i'm supposed to break off, and I can't for the life of me even find the bloody cables.
This sunroof is starting to piss me off, and it's going to rain soon, and in the position as closed as I can get it, you can still fit the tip of a flat head screwdriver through. I'm not too concerned about opening it right now, I Just need it to close before it pours out.

And YES i've tried the Manual crank, I can't get the thing to budge AT ALL, The allen key just starts to strip the stupid piece of plastic.

someone please help!

Go ahead and take out the six torx screws that hold it onto the runners and see what you have. It's straightforward when you're looking at it in real life. Give it a sparing bit of white grease while you have the glass off.
If you can't crank it freely when the glass is off (don't try the motor), look for where it's binding.
Hard to do this stuff through a keyboard. :|

I was out there for like 3 hours with the glass off trying to get the sucker to close. Like I said, couldn't find this plastic piece people are talking about and couldn't see the cable at all.
