Just trying to get together things for a small build this summer. I have about a 3,000$ budget, and just looking for advise and what I may or may not need. My car as is has a boost gauge, k&N air filter, 3in exhaust, and a AFR gauge that has yet to be connected.

FPR
1000cc + injectors
E-85(regularly available)

Turbo
Evo Big 16g
Open Dump
2g exhaust manifold
PR FMIC (have already)

Head
Stock 1g Intake manifold
FP valve spring (have already)
Titanium retainers (have already)
Delta 272 HKS regrinds
stock valves (??)
Hot tanked and machine work

Block
Stock 6 bolt
Stock 1g rods, pistons, crank
Hot tanked and machined
balance shaft elimination

Management
MBC
Slimfans

All new gaskets.

I may have missed a few things, and feel free to recommend other things/ alternatives(why I made this post) I am looking at about 350-400 hp.

Craigslist is your best friend in budget builds. I agree with That1g_Guy. Power is good, but the body and powertrain needs to be able to handle that power. I'd invest in suspension mods, a better clutch and flywheel, as well as body strengthening mods before looking at 300hp+. Just my $0.02 though.

A new clutch is a must but i recommend staying with the OEM flywheel. I switched to the lightweight and i have to turn my rpm settings up for my 2step(launch control) and I don't like the feeling of the light weight.

Auto tran. And I was planning on most parts being used. This is more for my engine

^I was looking at those^ thanks for the links, I seen kits like that on extreme PSI. I have 165,000 miles on my engine, I wanted to just swap head considering I am keeping my bottom end stock, but with my engine being so old/ high milage, I think it may need the machining. Im not blowing any smoke, white or black. I figured if I did not need to do my bottom end it would knock off a expense, but I cant be to sure until I get my head off. And I can knock off the E-85 conversion if need be to, that will save me a few bucks. There is a gas station by me that sells 100 octan fuel
