sum kind of boost prob

Alright here we go so i have a 1g tsi awd i got pulled by a 3g stock v6 i dont think that sould have happended but anyways heres the problem my car is boosting but its like it dosnt pull under boost like if im at 3k rpm's n i get into it my gauge spikes at 14 which is where i have it set at but my car dosent pull i can hear the turbo but no pull wut so ever can any1 give any tips please my car is all stock by the way a few free mods but thats it

I think I am having a similar problem...I can hear the turbo spool, and my boost gauge reads like it's boosting, but it doesn't feel like its pulling, though it does pull a little bit which leads me to think boost leak..

maybe your clutch is slippin, or plugs/wires are bad. I had a similar problem, i changed my coil on plug system and clutch and one of the two fixed my issue.

When your car should pull, does it seem like its redlined almost the whole time?
If so, then look at the clutch.
A proper thing to do is a Boost leak test. Just make sure all your air pressure actually stays in the pipes.
Do a test, or come back with some more details.

Attach it to the TB first, pressurize the system to 20-25psi (if you can), spray soapy water all over everything. If you see bubbles, there is a leak. If you hear rushing air, there is a leak somewhere.

Common leak points. Throttle body shaft seals and gaskets, intake manifold gasket, injector seals, disconnected or cracked vacuum lines. Once those are fixed, move it to the turbo and check to see if your BOV is leaking, IC and j-pipe gasket.

Be sure that your PVC is good by blowing into it. It shouldn't allow your to blow air in through the nipple end. If you can, it's bad and you need to buy an OEM unit. If it leaks, pinch the PVC line shut during the test.

Anything that see vacuum or positive air can leak. Spray everything that see it.

Do a boost leak test as you most likely have more than just a single torn hose. Gaskets, seals, couplers and lines are at least 11 years old now assuming they have never been changed. Without doing a boost leak test then you don't know what other problems you have with faulty/damaged parts.
