I was just wondering what kind of manual boost controller would ya'll recommend?

I also was wondering if it is worth the extra dollars to get one that i can adjust boost in the car?

theres some on ebay that work just fine.. and you can get them that run into your car.

but if you want name brand I suggest turbosmart for MBC or apexi for EBC (I had one for a long time, good little tool to have for launching a fwd turbo car LOL)

How about Hallman? Do they work well? I'm kind of timid to buy something that isn't some what of a name brand.

Well enough to blow something up if you wanted ROFL . The exact number would depend on your stock waste gate pressure. Looks like your still running the t25 so you'll want to set it at 16 psi for a good midrange. The boost will still drop off to about 12 psi by redline but there is nothing you can do about this, its just the to small t25 that runs out of steam. A larger free flowing exhaust will help you out. The reason why you want to set it at 16 psi is because if you set the boost above that you will just be making heat because once again the turbo is just too small, heat increases your chances of knock, knock increases your chances of doing some damage, not a good idea ;) . To answer your origional qeustion I'm sure you could see 30 psi or so, if you wanted too.

ive been lookin at a turbosmart dual stage for awile adn since i have ti kinda sace up my money in beteween getting new parts i loked at it for awile. that would be my choice plus it definatly looks cool and you have a sweet switch in your car that looks like you could launch a missile with it

From what i've read you're interested in buying one. I'm also looking for a boost controller and like you i will want to buy one. But just to throw it out there, it is possible to make your own in your garage with some home depot parts. I found this website on a diff. thread a few days ago: check it out..idk if u'd want to do it, but even if , it gives u a good idea of how they actually work and how to connect it. I always think its good to know how the parts u have on your car work...now just what they do.

I've read Hallmans are very popular tho, if i get a job thats the one i'll get if not..i'll have to settle for an ebay one LOL
