So I was racing last night and lost to a mustang with interanls :mad: . Enough is enough. 11 PSI no more. :laugh: So I went out to the garage today and turned the boost up.... ;) to what, thats the question. When I hit full boost it holds at about 16 psi but as I get over 5500 rpms or so it dips down to about 12... what the hell is the t25 just shitting on me or is it something else? :confused:

its shitting on you alright. mine does the same thing, goes to 15 then falls flat on its ass at around 5.5k. time for a better turbo.

hehe yah i dont think the nickel size hole in my stock downpipe helps either :p

I figured as much... time for a t28...
 
Yes the t25 is often referred to as the t-too small. After about 5k rpm the t25 reaches it limit and loses all power. Also if u run 16psi on the t25 just know that pretty soon its gonna die on it. Then u will need to buy a new turbo....sucks huh. 14b is a GREAT upgrade or if u wanna get alot of power go for a bigger upgrade. Its your choice.
 
:) maybe if I blow it i will convice myself to buy one sooner, hehe. No I will turn it back down... the mustang and his internals pissed me off :(
 
Yes i know that it can be disappointing to lose to a mustang since we dsmers live to kill other imports and domestics. Jus get more supporting mods and get a 14b and u should be set. Trust me a 14b will give u much more power in higher rpm levels not to mention MORE BOOST!!! My cuz found a fmic and 14b for like $280 thats with shipping. GL looking for a new turbo. If u decide to go that way.

You're asking this after being on here for sixteen months?

The T-25 isn't a race turbo. It's a street turbo. It gives best boost where most driving is done, between 3000 and 5000.

Yes I understand that I never messed with this kind of POS turbo, no use. I was working under the understanding that it gave out between 6 and 7k rpms... No need to get upset :p
