I have a 91 talon tsi and i want to get 350 to 400 horsepower out of it I bought a t3t4 turbo and a good size intercooler. The engine that is currently in the car I know will not be able to take the extra psi would it be cheaper to rebuild or buy a new engine?

But in all seriousness...

Why do you feel that the stock 4g63 6 bolt wont handle 400hp? Many have done it and have had no problems...

Why, is the engine about shot? These engines stock can easily handle your 350-400 hp goal. These engines have been proven to handle a lot more than that stock on many occasions. If the engine goes shot at that level, you either had a random part failure that can happen with anything, even the best aftermarket parts, or you had something wrong with your tune or ran it hot or out of oil. Where does this 350-400 hp goal come from, is it just a random number you decided on?

Saying 't3/t4' turbo means basically nothing about how big of a turbo it really is or how much power it can support. It could be for 250hp or for 600hp, who knows. It's about like the Fast and Furious nos slang for nitrous. "Danger to intake manifold", and then your randomly riveted on floorpan falls off, and they have to replace the piston rings you fried.
