So i have been taking it easy since putting my head after having it rebuilt. Some highway driving mostly (been keeping rpms max 4,000). After a good amount of miles i decided to get on the throttle a little more now and it stutters a little just below 5,000rpm and when i shift to second it does it a little more. I noticed now that it does it at high RPM in all gears. Wondering if it could be a fuel pump ready to go out, bad fuel injectors (fuel injector cap and bushing spacer new tho), or maybe cam angle timing degrees. any insight is much appreciated

Gotta test the fuel pressure to know where the problem is. I can't say for sure where it is on your model car, but there should be a fuel pressure test port on or near the fuel rail.

You will want to plug a fuel presssure tester gauge in there and have come up under the hood so that a passenger can see it while driving. Then when you get to the point where it studders you should look and see if the fuel pressure is dropping off or not.

We've got a couple guys down in Tucson. You might check out DSM_SW or az2gnt.net if you cant' figur this out and would like an experienced hand to stop by and take a look.
