What is the stutterbox??
how does it work ??

Its a drag launch for your car. When your stopped, you floor it and it hits a lower rev limiter like lets say 5500, and you start to build boost for the launch. Im not positive how it works on first gens, but secound gens I belive it reads your speed sensor, and when its at 0, it sets the rev limiter to whatever you have it set up. For 1g's you can get it at http://dsmchips.com/ or http://tmo.com/ but you will need to send in your ECU, also I belive some of the MSD ignition systems have the drag launch as an option.

On the TMO website it says they dont do that anymore ? as far as DSMchips.com where do you order it how much does it cost does anyone know??

no im just trying to figure it out ... my dads wrx has a launch control option with his UTEC and i wanted something like that for mine ....a local shop told me to read up about the stutterbox thats all !
