stupid interior lights..

since I bought my 1st gen the interior lights don't come on when I open the doors up like they should. They DO however turn on when I pop the hatch. Is there any wire or certain area of a harness I should check to fix this?

There is a little pressure switch in the bottom corner of the door that has a little rubber cover on it make sure that the switch is not stuck in. If it is you need to take the rubber cover off it and release the switch.

The front doors
