I was dicking around with my gauge cluster trying to put some LEDs in the back of it and after i got them in (they're the direct replacements) i put my cluster back in and nothing lit up. not even the lights for my hvac. so i pull my cluster out and one of the conductive strips is fried. i did a quick soldering job and fixed it then put my cluster back in my car and now my lights come on but i cant dim or brighten them. they're just mildly on. would i have fried my dimmer? i'm a little baffled here. any ideas are apreciated :thumb:

yeah, i know what you're talking about. but the only thing that i un-hooked was my gauge cluster, and i am 100% positive that it's hooked up....all the lights work on it. it's just my dimmer that doesn't work.
