My fuses are all good, but i have no gauge light , yep at night time i cant see how fast i am going or w/e is going on with my car, i could be low on gas or overheating and i wouldnt know cause the gaugle lights wont come on! Also my gear lights wont come on either (automatic) u know D,R,L,2,N those letters dont light up..Its a pain cause all the fuses are good any ideas?

yea that fuse is good too.. i been checking it out more lately and notice that 1. The Overdrive and Power/economy <autotransmission> lights stay on but if i put on my headlights these lights on my dashboard cut off. 2. Same thing as for my lighter.. i have some interior neon lights that u usually hook it up to the ciggarette lighter thingi.*sorry dont know what its called* They work and all when i plug it in, but when i turn on my headlights they cut off too... . The only thing that does not work at all is my dashboard lights..this giving me a headache...when i have more time im gonna check behind the dashboard and see if things look normal... any more ideas?
thanks for all the help

Mine is doing the same thing. Is this the dimmer switch? If so, wtf do I look for? How do I check to find out if it bad? Thanks for the help.

all this time i still havent figured it out yet..=/..i jus hooked up some neon lights to my cd player, and bought some small lights for the guages and hooked them up too, so now i can see at night..=D. but now i have trhis annoying whirring sound, even with this chip that i bought that suppose to block that sound..=(..o well at least i can see whats going on at night..most important.

LOL so you installed other lights to see the gauges, man thats classic. if its not a fuse its gotta be some sort of switch or wire short.

yup..LOL. i bought these lil blue neon lights that are made just for your gauges, there suppose to be used for show, but umm me i use them too see and the best part is that it looks cool..LOL... i think in my case its a shot wire, cause all the fuses are fine..the part that sucks is finding that wire, and replacing it..and that can take hours, 4get that im happy with my blue lit gauges! LOL

i had a similar problem when i installed my radio. i shorted the dimmer wire to ground when i put it back under the dash. anyway...all my fuses were fine and the actual dash gauges worked along with the cruise/security/economy lights, just nothing orangelit.
i got a new dimmer switch and popped it in after taping up the shorted wire and all is well.
