2G Stuck brake caliper

Hey guys I just bought a 96 GSX and I believe that the front passenger side brake caliper is not opening all the way causing the brakes not to open all the way and the rotor to get really hot. And the car to shimmy a little at like 55 thanks

Jack up the car with the ebrake on and trans in neutral. Spin the wheel by hand; there will be a good amount of resistance if the caliper is sticking. Also, grab the wheel and wiggle it back and forth to check for looseness, perhaps a worn tierod end and or balljoint (Id look for play in the tierod ends first, especially if the boots are torn, and ball joints if their boots are torn). If the "shimmy" is occurring during BRAKING, Id check the above mentioned items, as well as the alignment, which a few places will check for free, and another thing, if you can spin the wheel by hand easily enough, the caliper can still have stuck guide pins and the way to check is to look at the pad on the front of the rotor vs. the pad on the rear. A large difference in the thickness of the pads is indicitive of an issue...

When I jack the car up I can hardly turn the wheel by hand. But there is no wobble in the wheel. Is there any way to fix the caliper or am I better off just replacing it?

calipers are rebuildable, and it's not too hard to do. parts are available at most parts stores

Rebuilt my rears last night. Super easy. There is a tech article on the forums about it. Read it.

With new guide pins, guide pin boots, piston boots, piston seals, and paint I think I have about 50 bucks invested total, for all 4 brakes.
