I have the megan racing lowering springs. Would the KYB AGX's be a good choice for these springs or are they to low for these struts? Is there another manufacture of struts for 1g's? Or are coilovers the way to go?

True, you can't beat the adjustability of coilovers, but if you get adjustable KYB AGXs, then I think it would be good enough. Like everyone said, if you mainly want to drop the car for looks, stay with shocks/springs. Performance, coilovers.

after looking around it looks like i will be going with the kyb's. they seem to be the only struts out there for a 1g. the coilovers are a bit much for me right now.

The thing is. After all the money you "should" spend on getting camber kit, or camber plates, the struts and springs, you could have a nice coilover, or damn near.

I hate to continue the debate, but I have the opportunity to upgrade to coil overs, but I have tokico adjustable struts and ebach springs for 12 years and the last ten years the car sat! I have taken measures to make the car road worthy. Even after the 10 years the suspension is amazing, handles like its on rails. My question is will I notice the difference by switching to coil overs? The coil overs are used but I can get them at a reasonable price. Some people say stay with what you have and overs say coil overs are far better. I'm so confused! If money is an issue which is with most who own DSM's maybe I should not care, but if I miss this opportunity I'll feel stupid. Please someone who knows grace me with your wisdom! Thanks!!
