strut bars for 98 GSX

i bought a front and rear strut bar for my 98 gsx on ebay, big mistake, on the page it didn"t specify if it was turbo or not, so i aksed the guy he said yes it would fit the turbo, got it in today what a moron, right when i opened the package it said for 95-99 NON turbo, so what i had to to do to make it fit was drill an extra hole, where the battery nut is, but my question is do you think it is ok to have it,like that, i mean its not all the way on??

as long as it's flat and you have the bolts tight it will work just like the one made for the turbo model.
