Stroker Questions

Anyways im going with a 2.3 stroker for my gsx. My cylinder walls look perfect so i was prefering not to load the block and take it to the machine shop to bore it. Since theres no one locally around. Can i just get a stroker kid at standard bore and just put it together?

Just as long as you get it honed with new rings, or if you had good compression re-use the rings. But beware if you re-use the rings. Remember what you didn't do, didn't help you.

Definately hone it, at the least.

"Looks" perfect and "is" perfect are two different things, especially when dealing with thousandths of an inch. At least take a ring and measure the gap with a feeler gauge in 3 or 4 spots in each cylinder to verify the condition of the cylinders. Definitely hone it out as well
