I want to hear what People have to say about stroker kits. I have been thinking about getting one but still have come undecided. I have read other forums and already know what needs to be done.

I would probably get a kit from sbr and get a NEW crank, total price 1600 for the kit,

What are the pros and cons of having one, I know wheel spin already in a fwd.
Would you recommend it for a daily driver for a summer car, I want to be around 300 hp. is going with a stroker to much?

300whp can be done on the stock motor all day long the TQ from the 2.3 is going to be nice but with FWD it is just going to brake the wheels lose quicker. but each to their own.

I would stay away from a stroker in a front wheel drive car. The added displacement isn't so much for overall power, but more for off boost torque and helping the turbo spool. These are both going to create traction problems. I would just stick with a 2.0l unless you are going bigger than a 50 trim, in which case you may need to help spool the turbo. But for 300hp I doubt you will be using a turbo of that size. Good luck with your build.
