When I got the car it was already over tightened and leaked. Now it leaks too much.

If I helicoil it I figure I can't drill the oil hole on the inside of the spot.

So can I just tap it out one size bigger (hoping the head of the new bolt will clear the housing) and then drill my oil line collar bigger?

Im stumped. Searching brought nothing for this.

If it was me I wouldn't helicoil it, Id rather tap it out and go with a bigger size. Way more solid of a fix.

So is it the oil feed line? Or is it a stripped hole on either the turbo or the out to turbo off the valve cover? If you do drill make sure you go slow and straight!

And also, any way you go about this there will be drilling involved. So your going to have to either take the turbo apart, or find a way to plug that hole up really good and not get any shavings at all in there.

Honeslty It may be better to just get a replacement. 14b's can be had for cheap.

There is no way to drill it straight, the oil inlet hole is perpendicular to the top of the turbo.

Yeah, but I just got this 14B for $150, and besides the stripped out hole, the turbo only had 5k on it. Not one crack in the exhaust housing, Its fully ported on the exhaust (which could be transfered) but so is the cool side. I would like to keep it if I could because it has potential.

Thats what I want to do. You think I should just drill the collar on the oil line bigger then? I dont see any other choice.
