I have a ss feed line for my 14b. Banjo bolt is good, but oil housing end isn't.

It didn't come with the elbow so I went to Home depot and lego'd some pieces together. I got a 3/8 to 1/8, then connected a 1/8 to 1/8 to that piece.

Screwed in the piece to the feed line and put it in. It leaked a little from the feed line and the fitting part so I tightened it more, now the male part is stripped.

Is there a way I can re-thread it? Right now I have a 3/4" fuel line hose over the ss and connecting it to the piece, but it just blew off because it doesn't fit correctly over the swivel part on the ss. :(

Please help. I read up on helicoil but I dont' completely understand it.

Well after a night of no results I just cut the end off the ss line and hooked a fuel line hose over it.

Still drips every 2 seconds but that might be because the fuel line is quite bigger than the line itself.
