Stripped Cam Bracket Bolt...what to do

Well first of all its on my 1995 RS I have the valve cover off and I am trying to remove the cam shafts so I started removing the brackets that are holding them down..not sure if they are called brackets but oh well..anyway I got most of them off I think they are 8mm bolts holding them in or something like that but I rounded off one of them so I can not remove the last bolt that is left..how can I remove this bolt when it is stripped to hell and is torqued down tight?

ya...its keeps slipping no matter what..with the vice grips

are they good vice grip? some pairs don't grip well try heating it up some times that helps

Is the timing belt off or are the cam sprockets zip tied to the belt? You might have to re-do the belt so you can take both the cam and sprocket to a machine shop. I'm guessing exhaust cam?

i think your are talking about the caps that hold the cam in the head

Go to sears and pick up either a set of bolt extraction sockets or a alligator socket, try not to stripe them anymore.

they are stripped pretty bad to the point I dont think special spripped sockets will do the job its so messed up..the vice grips I used chewed them up...so I am no sure what to do..and it is the caps..i just didnt know what to call them..and its the exhaust cam that I cannot remove..
