Header bolt stripped...What to do?

Ive had the ssautochrome headers on my car for about 6 months...now there is a bolt that connects the header to the engine that is stripped...basically there is metal like melted in the threads of the bolt....is this from the wrong amount of torque in which they were put on or what?? Anyways, what can I do about this, I need all muh bolts on there nice n tight so the header is sealed....im thinking ide have to get it re-threaded? Help me out guys....

You are going to have to remove the exhaust manifold and drill out the hole and use a heli coil kit to get the threads back. 20 -25 ft lbs is really all you need on exhaust stud bolts. Just dont go crazy on it.

Retap the threads in the block, and you can run overtop of the old bolt in somecases. If you can't find a way of doing this, find a similar bolt.
