So i have an extra set of the 5 straight spoke rims, i hate my crooked spokes....the kid that owned them before me painted two black, any way thats easy to get it off of the rim? he painted them pretty good LOL.

First i would suggest taking the tires off if you really want to do it right. Clean them up with soap and water and get yourself a gallon or two of aircraft stripper from home depot ( use gloves ). Most of the time it will take it all off after a one or two layers of the stripper if not a wire brush and scraper and your good to go. The rest is rinsing the wheels off with water and you should have them down to bare metal.

Second option is take it to a shop as powder coaters or media blasting shop.

good luck

He beat me to it. My rims are holding up real nice, are you jealous of my rims now and you'r trying to compensate by seeing if you can make yours as sexy as mine. HAHAA just kidding man. Good luck.

don't care about the tires they are all gashed and showing belt (they are not on my car my car has 4 brand new tires I'm going to switch onto them) Maybe i should just paint them like i had the fellow DSM'er do above :) Question is...what color?

I dont have one eather, but it shouldnt cost to much to have them done, But the aircraft stripper would be cheaper.

You can use TAL Strip. I think it either is an aircraft stripping agent or something similar. I used that stuff on my Starion wheels when the clear coat starting peeling away and it cleaned them right up. The only problem with that is once they are stripped down clean like that you need to re-seal them or they oxidize like crazy. If it were me I would strip them with the TAL strip and then get them powder coated that Hyper-Black color. It is like smoked chrome.:hellyeah:

How about this color minus the blue time attack ring.
