Turbo was making a strange noise for a little while, I thought it was nothing, then I upped the boost to 12 and it got louder, really loud, I had someone take a quick video of me going by, I kept boosting it (it is now at 9lbs but still sounds just as loud) here is the video:

let me know what you think, I checked the turbo for shaft play and it has a little, the turbo is brand new w/300-500 miles, it James

I'm not worried about getting oil I just want to find out WHY my turbo is f'd up so it doesn't happen again if I rebuil it or get a new one. now the oil return has oil on it, the transmission bell housing has oil on it, many other places too, the turbo return doesn't keep a certain percent of oil in the turbo does it? if so then the return might be the problem if not it HAS to be leaking either from the oil feed or the turbo itself, otherwise the blade wouldn't be grinding against the housing.
another thing, my clutch was slipping REAL bad for a little while, 2-3 days, then it was fine, could oil fromn the turbo/oil feed get on the clutch and cause it to slip? I'm going to just remove the turbo and see if I can find the leak, James.

well, I figured since everyone thinks the turbo needs more oil and since the feed holes are too small, I decided to make my own feed line.

I took the fuel line from my parts car, the banjo bolts are the same size, I then cut off the part that goes to the fuel rail and clamped a hose on it. Then I threaded a fitting that came off the back of one of the intake manifolds I had into the head where the banjo bolt normally went. Then I hooked everything up and turned it on, no leaks! The lines are alot bigger and the fitting on the head is much bigger as well, the hole in the fuel line is about 10 times bigger then the stock feed line hole in the above picture. Here are the pics.

NO MORE WHINING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took it out for a run to see if the whining died down any and it COMPLETELY went away! the shaft now has LESS play, now hardly any, and there is still ZERO in and out play, with the car running before I did anything I unhooked the oil feed line and some oil was spraying out, now I unhooked the oil feed line and almost a quart came flying out, I'm guessing 5 times more then before, is my problem fixed?
