I'm doing a rebuild in june or july... need some opinions on this stroker kit and whatever else I might need.

Included in the kit .

Remanufactured crankshaft
NEW main and rod bearings
NEW Wiseco 8.8-1 pistons ( Coated Skirts ) .040 / 1mm oversize
NEW Wiseco piston rings
NEW Eagle rods
(About $1300)
Any thoughts on this kit?

plus I'd need cams/camgears

Anything else???

Well this kit includes the pistons listed... would there be clearance issues or any issues?... how much would it cost to go with a 1g 6-bolt?... here are the two kits:

I've heard to go the 6-bolt way, but what would i need for the swap?, how much would it cost?... anyone done it?

6 bolt swap is definately the way to go and theres probably like 10000 threads on it, very common and very good swap. search and learn

I'm having trouble finding a local place that can do one?... anyone live near the GTA?... how much should it be? (I'm assuming you US guys will quote american currency)
 
You should contact www.engintecs.com . They are a kick ass machine shop in Chicago. You should not use a regrind especially on a stroker application, and guess what Mitch at engintecs only uses cranks that are new or well with in specs. :thumb: (He offers excellent prices on new cranks and stroker kits). :thumb:
