How much boost will the stock 4g63 turbo pistons hold?

Its not boost that kills them, its the heat that is produced from advancing timing with higher boost levels. the can take 500hp on a properly set-up engine, but this is an extreme case, the norm is 300-400hp.

Detonation will kill pistons this is called knock thats why you need a good data logger or dsm link to pay attention to what is going on inside the motor. When you know whats going on you can make some serious horspower on stock pistons.
