2G Stock Parts?

I’m taking apart my dads 98 GST when he bought it there were a lot of mods done to it and now that the engine is toast I’m attempting to take parts off to start my GSX drag build. I’m having a hard time figuring out if the throttle body is stock or from a 1g and can’t figure out if the intake manifold is from a 1g. I’m not sure if there is a way to tell just from looking at it on the outside or if I’ll need to take it off and look at the ports. I took off the throttle body and I believe it was 2.5inch or 63mm I was probably off a bit so maybe it was the stock 2g throttle body at 60mm? Also this car didn’t have cruise control and I want to do the cruise control delete so I grabbed this cable off of the GST I believe it’s the right thing for this swap. Any help would be greatly appreciated. From looking at other posts this does seem like the right cable to delete the cruise. Also supposedly the guy had a bigger turbo on the car so I’m going to attempt to take that off not even sure if it’s a nice one or from eBay here’s a pic.

thats a stock 2g TB

stock 2g intake manifold

turbo looks like a 20g maybe.....or could be a Frank....its MHI though Im pretty sure, need better pic.....I dont think anyone made a knock off of that compressor cover though

Hopefully you pulled the throttle plate/shaft out like that to change the shaft seals, and not just to get the cable out

Hopefully you pulled the throttle plate/shaft out like that to change the shaft seals, and not just to get the cable out

I am just taking the engine apart before I scrap the car, trying to determine what is worth it to keep. Hah honestly I thought I had to take it off to get the cable off but wanted the throttle body out anyways. Got the turbo out today which was a total disaster and pain in the ass believe you are correct that it’s a 20g.

Today I pulled the fuel rail and injectors I think the last thing I’m going to try and get the head off next and the adjustable cams.
