Hey guys. I seem to be having issues with my stock oil gauge in my 1G. The problem is that the gauge does not move at all, no matter what the oil reading is. It always reads 0. About one every 2 weeks or so it will randomly decide it wants to move and it will read the correct oil level, then just as randomly it goes back to zero and stays there. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on this? I actually went and pulled another stock oil gauge out of another 1G, but I want to make sure that is the problem before I pull apart my gauge bezel. Do you guys think that would fix the issue? or is it probably something else that is making is so that my oil does not read? The reason this is important is I have an oil leak that I will be fixing this month, however in the mean time I have to make sure I have ample oil, and its a lot easier to look at a gauge then to measure with a dipstick every few days. Thanks a lot guys. Also if you have an idea that it is not the actual gauge but something else, please tell me what you think it is and what I can do in order to fix/check it.
