stock o2 housing w/ 3" MR DP

In a nutshell will it work?

I've searched some and have seen a post where it says that the 3" inlet won't work w/ the stock o2 housing. Others I see have got it to work and no mention of any adaptor or replacement housing.

Help this n00b out.. I just ordered a 3" megan's racing downpipe and need to know if I need to order anything else or get another set of carbide bits to port the o2 housing.

It will bolt straight up, mine did im sure porting to match the bigger dp would be the right thing to do but mine doesnt leak or anything of that sort.
