ebay 2.5 o2 housing to stock dp

Hello I just picked up a mhi evo 16g that had a ebay 2.5 o2 housing on it. My dp is stock with 2.5 inch piping from the flexpipe on no cat. Will putting this on hurt me more then doing good with the stock dp? thanks

the ebay 02 housing should be 2.5 inches also, and will not hurt anything.

Wait wait wait, you're saying that the exit of the o2 housing is larger than the exit of the downpipe? If so then it will hurt you to put that o2 housing on.

It will be ok. I say upgrade your downpipe to a true 2.5" or 3" downpipe for best flow.

ok thanks, im looking for a 2.5 dp right now, which would be cheaper a used one or a muffler shop to make me one? I dont wanna jump to 3 inch just yet (afraid of boost creep).
