Saskatoon,
well i want to go with a blow thru set up, but im wanting to know how much boost i can run with it on the 14b with the stock fuel system, ive been told that the stock fuel is only good til around 16 psi, but im wondering with the MAFT how much could i lean the car out that its still quite safe, and not running a severe risk of blowing my car up? i also plan to get a bigger fuel pump in the future as well
thanks

Save yourself the money and don't buy the blow thru set up. Your 1g mas is fine and you aren't going to overrun it with a 14b. All that money for a whoosh noise.

Every car is different, you could be knocking at 12lbs, then again you could be fine around 17. Who knows.

Get all your maintenance done and buy a logger to monitor everything. Then turn up the boost until she starts to knock.

ive heard from tons of posts that the fuel system can only handle 16 psi, otherwise why would the car cut the fuel. then only benefit of a blow-thru isnt being able to vent there are many, especially getting rid of the shitty 1g maf,

Do you have a Logger or Wideband o2 Gauge? I know its not the answer you are looking for, but I wouldnt turn up the boost untill you have one of the two items that I listed. Without them you wont be able to tell what is going on with your Car.

My advice would be not to even bother with it right now. Instead I would spend the money on a fuel pump and a logger. Then you will be able to safely turn up the boost some. Then you can watch the logger to see when your injectors are being pushed too far. There are things you can do to be able to run more boost with a close to stock fuel system.
