Mods are as follows:

Intake
2.5" Exhaust
Boost Gauge
DSMLink

I know my mod list is different, but I just got my new Talon, and I'm in the process of switching parts over/a 16G install. I anted some experience tuning, so I figured I'd start now on my stock fuel system.

I was getting some stuttering while doing this 3rd gear pull, but I was trying to work through it to get enough of a log to post. Once it got to 6 counts of knock, I had to stop.

Right now I am running -2 timing from 3500-up. And +7 fuel from 4000+. I was trying to eliminate the knock I was getting, which is why I had these settings. My log is posted below.

Any ideas?

That sputtering really looks like classic ignition misfire. I would closely examine plug wires and plugs. Maybe just drop a new set of plugs gapped to 0.028" in and see if that helps any.

Knock retard in that log is off the chart for what appears to be really low boost. Your base timing may be off. You should check this with a timing light.

If that's not an option or you'd like a "quickie test", then try dropping all the timing adjustments from 3000-10000 RPM down to something like -10 and see if the knock goes away. Power will be down, of course, but if knock retard subsides, then you at least have some level of confidence that it's real detonation and you need to address it with adjustments to ignition advance in some way.

What kind of spark plugs do you recommend, and im doing a 16G setup here soon, if that matters.

Yea I took my boost back down to 10psi and I was still getting some knock. I will try the quickie method, and have the timing checked later on.

I really appreciate the help! I'll let you know how it all goes.
