Can anyone tell me if the stock fuel pump is loud at idle. I know that the Walbro is infamous for its loud whine but I bought this car with a few mods done to it already and now i'm starting to think that it may have an upgraded fuel pump. The whine i'm hearing is coming from the back of the car and its really obnoxious, and I made sure it wasn't the radio already. Any help will be appreciated, I just don't want to go out and buy one if I already have it heh.

You can make a pretty good educational guess if you have a fuel gauge but the only way to know for sure is to remove it for inspection.

well you have to no matter what as i see it..... in order to find out if you do or not you have to, and once your in there if you dont, you buy a new one, leave it open and swap them, so you only have to do the work once,...

From the looks at the mod's on your car, I would guess that it has a pump, but what kind exactly...hhmm...well it could be either a 190 lph or a 255 lph, if you can locate the original person who did the mod's you could save yourself alot of guess work there. But for the record, it is not hard at all to check it, I agree with the Oldman check it out. You can check out VFaq's to get the information on it, it is pretty easy. good luck man.
