stock compression on a 6 bolt

looking to buy a used 91 6 bolt, with plans making about 250 awhp. just need it to last for a year or two. compression is 143-147 on all cylinders. what is perfect compression on these motors. and if the motor was cheap does it sound like an OK deal?

Ideal compression on a 6 bolt is 164 psi. Service limit is 121 psi. You're fine.

Anything over 140 is good, anything over 150 is great!!

I have a 2g with a six bolt in it. I checked the compression the other day and it was around 155. Sounds like you're going to be set.
