I was running a 50shot on top of 20psi from a 16g. Composite head gasket and stock head bolts. This is just what I did, it really depends on other factors of your setup also.

Well the car has L19 studs and a coposite HG
E85 1600cc and GT3582R on 28 psi

I was just wondering if I should try it out or stay away from it

I will tell you it gets expensive and addictive LOL. I don't know enough about n2o to give a answer I'm comfortable with. One person I remember giving me a lot of good advice about n2o was "turboglen" you might want to pm him and see what he says or pm him a link to this thread. Personally I would get jets for the 75 and smaller ones for a 50 or so. Start out with a 50 or even a 35 shot and work your way up to the 75.
