Stock cleaned and balanced injectors worth $110?

I'm going to back to the stock injectors for smog and don't expect to reinstall the Lucas 550cc injectors I have. Now prior to installing the 550cc's, I was running way rich on the stock injectors. Road Race Engineering has stock injectors that are balanced and cleaned for $110 http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclfuel.htm. Do you think I should just put my stock injectors back or do you think it is worth while to purchase the cleaned/balanced stock injectors?

How long do you plan on running on the stock system? If you plan on staying there for a couple years, maybe, but I would say your original injectors probably arent that bad. You can get yours cleand at fuel injector clinic for a lot less than $110 also.

What you really should do, is get a SAFC. Then you won't have the problem of running rich at all, since you can compensate for the excess fuel.

it sounds like you think that these are a set of injectors from rre, they arent, you send in yours, and they clean and balance them, but if you already knew that, then disregaurd this post

I'm sorry for my original post being vague. I know that a core charge is due for the stock clean and balance job. I guess what I am really asking is, do you think that 450cc injectors with 60K miles on them would benefit enough from a clean and balance to warrant spending $100 on them? I do have the SAFC already and will be using it in conjunction with my 450cc's in the future.

If you have the SAFC, why do you just tune your car so it's not running rich anymore??? Then you won't have to spend the cash on 450's.

I also checked FIC's specials and you could spend $80 on all four to have them cleaned. It's probably where RRE sends them anyway.

I've got injectors cleaned/flow tested from a company called cruzin performance. I believe their website is their name but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment. They were great to deal with any had no problem anwsering any questions I had. They charge $12 for each injector to clean, replace seals & flow test & only $5 an injector if you just want them tested. For $48 I think its worth it, then you know exactly whats going on.
